| | Jason,
Hello. It’s George Takei.
I’m joining together with friends old and new for a special grassroots fundraiser with some of my fellow Star Trek actors past and present to support Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats down the ballot, Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM EDT. Can you join me? Chip in $15 or any amount to claim your virtual spot. I’ve been involved in politics my entire adult life, from running for local office myself to leading the charge against discriminatory leaders and legislation.
And I can tell you, Jason, that this year is the most important election of our lifetime.
As my father told me years after our family was released from internment during World War II, a democracy depends on those who believe in its highest, shining ideals.
Jason, you and I both know that’s exactly who Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are, and I’m proud to support them, as well as many other Democrats running for office across the country.
Now, campaigns are expensive, and this year is no exception. But Joe, Kamala, and Democrats down the ballot are fueled by grassroots donors like you, so I hope you’ll join me for a special grassroots fundraising event with stars from Star Trek and political leaders to power us to victory in November!
Will you join me, Stacey Abrams, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Andrew Yang, and some old friends Tuesday at 6:00 PM EDT for this special event? Chip in any amount and we’ll send you a link to join in: If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | I can’t wait to see you there, Jason.
Onward to victory!
