Dear Jason,
I’ve lived my life at the borders. Between cultures. Between disciplines. Between musics. Between generations.
And throughout my life I’ve learned that in culture, we build bridges, not walls. We believe that we are better together than alone. I am worried that we’ve lost sight of that belief in America.
Jason, we need a president who builds bridges, not walls. That’s why I’m personally asking if you can join me in donating to the Biden-Harris campaign today.
Joe says it best: we are in a battle for the soul of the nation. It’s a battle to uphold and honor the values that we hold dear, values like empathy, and dignity, and respect for truth. These are our values, and they are Joe’s values. And they are the values we need for a better future.
This election is too important to sit out. If you can, Jason, will you chip in your next $15 to make sure we elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in November? If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: | | Joe and Kamala will build bridges, at home and across the globe, to heal our country and to help us move forward, stronger.
They will value diversity and honor America’s history as a nation of immigrants, like me. They will respect science and work to combat climate change. They will lead our country through the pandemic and help us build back better.
We all have a part to play in making that happen, Jason. So, if you can, will you chip in to the Biden-Harris campaign today? Anything you give will make a real difference:
