We’re in Ithaca with Alexandria today and she wants you to be the first to see our new palm cards to turn out inactive voters:
Inactive voters are voters in New York State who haven’t voted in two consecutive federal elections and are at risk of being purged from the voter rolls. And once a voter is purged, they have to re-register to vote to cast a ballot.
We’re printing tens of thousands of these palm cards, in English and Spanish, to reach as many people as we can to tell them how they can reactivate their voter status.
Our organizers and volunteers will be putting these directly into the hands of voters across New York State, reaching folks who have sat out recent elections.
The stakes this fall are too high to leave anyone on the sidelines.
Talking with voters face to face is how this campaign has always organized, and it's how we'll reach communities that are too often overlooked or taken for granted.
