Jason -- You've heard me talk a lot about expanding the map for Democrats over the last few months. As the DNC's political director, I hope you'll give me a second to explain exactly what that means and, if you can, donate $7 today to support our midterm election strategy.
First off, here's the map I'm talking about:
You could spend quite a while contemplating this map and how it fits into our plans to protect and expand our Democratic majorities, so let me break it down: Losing any one of our Senate seats or just five House seats could put all the progress we've fought so hard for at risk.
So, where does that leave our party? We know that we must fight for every single seat we have -- and in terms of picking up new ones, well, we're throwing the old electoral math out the window. We cannot overlook a single red or blue state if we want to expand the map.
That's why we're ramping up our investments in organizing, voter protection, and data programs that Democrats running in all 50 states are relying on to win in November. But their success depends on the support of this grassroots team -- not in the weeks leading up to Election Day, but right now. So, I have to ask:
Can you give $7 to the DNC today to fund the DNC programs that will elect Democrats all across the country? Any amount will go a long way.
With the midterm election year here, now is our best opportunity to ramp up our investments in states across the map -- and we're counting on your support today to:
-
Register, protect, and educate voters. From hiring state-based organizers to launching television and digital ads, we're making it easier for folks to learn how, where, and when to vote.
These plans are critical to Democratic victory in 2022 and beyond -- and they will only be made possible by grassroots supporters like you chipping in what you can when you can. So please, make a $7 donation to the DNC today.
Thanks,
Alana
