Do you have friends, colleagues, or acquaintances you follow on social media whose views you value and look forward to hearing? Me too!
Sometimes, I wish I had more time to share valuable information with friends and family who may be listening to the latest viral WhatsApp meme or targeted Facebook ad.
According to Pew Research Center, about half of Americans get some of their news on social media -- with nearly a third regularly getting news on Facebook, and others getting news from YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.
The reality is that we are more likely to trust the information coming from those closest to us in our personal and social networks. That means we need to rely on each other to spread the word far and wide about what Democrats are doing to help working families.
Our new DNC Social Ambassador program was created because we need to make sure voters have an easy way to share the facts. That's why I'm asking you to become a part of our inaugural group of social ambassadors.
Jason, if we don't share all of the progress Democrats nationwide are making for workers and families, then who will? Join our team to help amplify facts, combat disinformation, and share your personal stories. Sometimes, the best tools are right at our fingertips and the best person to share the latest news is you.
Sign up to become a social ambassador and our organizing team will be in touch with upcoming training sessions!
Thanks,
Amanda
